Mona T. Duckett, Q.C.

Mona served as a Bencher with the Law Society of Alberta from 2000 to 2006, finishing her tenure there as its president. She has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 2003, and is a current member and past president of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association. Mona has served as a Bar Admission Course instructor in criminal law since 1987, and is a past sessional instructor in Advanced Criminal Law at the University of Alberta Law School. She has been a member of the Faculty of the National Criminal Law Program since 2000.

Mona's practice and experience spans the entire spectrum of criminal defence and related administrative law. She has also developed a well recognized expertise in the preparation and conduct of criminal appeals to both the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.
