Our client was charged by his ex-partner with one count of sexual assault with choking, suffocation, or strangulation. After a week long jury trial in the Ft. McMurray Court of King’s Bench, which included a lengthy cross-examination of the complainant, the jury returned a unanimous verdict of not guilty.
