Upon mandatory 1 year review of the 6 year Intensive Rehabilitation and Custody Supervision Order imposed on a youth client for first degree murder. 2 years secure custody portion changed to open custody despite opposition by the Solicitor General’s Department. The object was to allow for a more gradual reintegration into community.
