Mona lectures regularly for continuing legal education programs for lawyers, judges and police. She has lectured as a sessional instructor in Advocacy at the University of Alberta Law School, in addition to Professional Responsibility and Advanced Criminal Law. She served for approximately 15 years as a member of the Faculty of the Federation of Canadian Law Societies, National Criminal Law Program. She has produced numerous criminal law papers over the course of her career. Mon is also a co-author of the 2010 criminal text, Trial of Sexual Offences, and the 2023 textbook, Witness Preparation, Presentation, and Assessment.
