The client was charged with historic allegation of sexual assault against his step-daughter. The complainant alleged the assault occurred while she was in bed at the client’s home. After a trial in the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the client was not only found not guilty of the offence, the presiding Justice indicated that he believed the client to be factually innocent of any wrongdoing.
