Youth accused charged with public mischief (making a false report to the police) after making an allegation of sexual assault and then later providing a markedly different version of events to police. Client acquitted when trial judge held it had not been proven that the sexual assault complained of did in fact occur, and there was insufficient evidence as to the nature of the subsequent statement.
