Client charged with a number of offences arising out of an allegation that he punched his wife, causing a cut over her eye, and confined her in their residence for an hour and a half. At trial the Complainant was aggressively cross-examined regarding her version of events and contact she had with the Client following the charges being laid.
Result: Following cross-examination the Crown asked the Court to dismiss all substantive charges against the client.
