Client acquitted in judge alone trial of 11 counts on a 13 count Indictment alleging sexual assault causing bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm, weapons offence, counselling murder etc.. Court concluded that client’s evidence was unshaken in cross examination and could not be rejected, whereas complainant’s evidence filled with serious inconsistencies and implausibilities. Defence conceded one common assault and attempt to obstruct justice and received time served.
